The Joys of Renovating

Neither Sarah nor I had ever actually been to the dump before.
For some reason we both had these notions that it would not be so bad...

When we realized that we had to bring the tile shrapnel there, we were both kind of excited to see what this mythical place would be like.

Well... it is DISGUSTING!
We went to Ikea afterwards to pick-up some small things for the space, and had dump-stink all over our shoes and totally stunk-up the place.

This is our public apology to all the Ikea Richmond staff and patrons!
We know better now.

(... In hindsight... the whole experience was kind of fun.)

Chenoa and Sarah Jane bribed hot women to model for them and hired the talented Ryan Walter Wagner to photo-document it. (Totally PG13.) Shot in the mid-construction space on Fraser St. Stay tuned for the outcome!

the reno continues...

Well, the framing of the new space is almost done! Things are starting to shape-up real nicely-like.

Oh... and all our hard work paid off. Look at what's left of those vinyl tiles we were ripping off!
